OK, let's make the thread technical.

Suppose you were going to customize a bike, or build a custom bike,
specifically for that contest. What design features would you use?

Put some studs on the tires so they don't slip on the wet wood. Add a balancing pole so that if you lean a bit you don't loose control immediately.

Strap an innocently looking box on a baggage rack that contains a gyro
stabilizer, then ride really slowly.

Cheaper alternative: A couple bottles of Belgian Tripel to steady the
rider :-)
