Default 'zocchi Pro ETA: Different Sounds?

Got two of these things: one on my FS and the other on my HT.

FS gets ridden more than the HT by about 20:1.

FS' has started making much more squishier sounds of late. When his happened
with a Fox rear shock, it turned out tb some kind of seal failure in the
nitrogen chamber.

Is 'zocchi trying to tell me something?

Time for an overhaul?

If so, what am I looking for in the way of an overhaul kit?

Finally, does anybody actually change the oil in these things? I've heard/read
advice to change the oil on some kind of regular basis, but can't help observing
that the shocks in my cars go tens of thousands of miles with the same oil -
basically until the shock is replaced.

If you have damaged seals, you will need to buy a Marzocchi dust seal kit
(anywhere between $25-$40, yeah, a ripoff!) and oil. It doesn't have to be
Marzocchi oil (which is not cheap). Any moto fork oil (in the weight that
you need) will do, plus its cheaper. It is advisable to change your oil at
least every year, we do. You should see the garbage that builds up in there
after a solid year of riding. Putting fresh oil in there makes the fork nice
and plush and smoove like butta!

I'm currently using BMW motorcycle fork oil.

Didn't realize that gunk built up in there.

Gonna look for something heavier than the 7.5 I have in there now and mix the
two up to maybe 10 or 12 - hoping to increase the damping more than I've been
able to via the damping adjustment.

Buy a small bottle of the cheap stuff, too, to use as a wash. Carla's
right, there's a lot of crap that will gunk up the oil.... after you
pull the top caps, throw in the cheap oil, reassemble, and pump a few
times. Then dump it out, now use the good stuff for the "real" oil change.
