dia compe silver friction shifters with sram apex rear derailleur?
read in some places that sram rear derailleurs not always compatible with the above shifters (old suntour).
Doesn't make sense to me, but.... anyone knows? |

But one of the websites says that they may not shift some sram gears? Ill find out when I get them |

Rode to day with diacompe shifters and 10 speed cassette and sram apex. ****fted without problems. Sometimes Id had to do do some minor adjustment, but the chain would sit square on each gear. I jumped and sprinted several times to put pressure on the gears. Just to clarify, Im not some hot shot racer who sprints to stop signs. I just wanted to make sure that the shifting was accurate. |

Got home and exchange the damned sram derailleur for an acera. Much better. Long live friction and cheap rear derailleurs. |
