two headlight system optics?
using a bar mounted headlamp and a low fork mounted lamp-is there a
mix of color, say yellow on the bottom-white on top, producing more definition on the killer pothole? than a standard two whites. or LED blue whites as with Cateye, a color i assume is engineered for definition or...? |

Since yellow works best in haze, I would expect most situations would favor rider visibility of using the yellow on top for distance and the white below focussed on the road. If you had a tight ground hugging fog you might swap them out for that occaission. Yellow on top would be less visible, but because it is the opposite common small motor vehicle orientations, I'd expect it to be more attention getting by a driver to notice due the unusualness of yellow over white. -- meb |
