Cyclists disrupt war memorial service again by ignoring road closure.

It's cyclists like you that give decent cyclists a bad name. You know absolutely nothing about me. I do not give cyclists a bad name. If you want to be constructive try suggesting why a person should walk a bicycle where someone else can drive a car. In the situation we are talking about, the word is *respect*. Of course it is. BTW, the road was closed. Legally? All boxes ticked, risk assessments carried out and all council and police expenses paid? It might sound as though I am making light of things but the article carries a distinct whiff. Yup, that is the whiff of disrespect. We'll have to agree to disagree on this. Anybody asking for "All boxes ticked, risk assessments carried out and all council and police expenses paid" for a memorial service is a disrespectful ****wit and should be shot. Still telling the dole that you are working less than 16 hours per week, Hucker? Still claiming tax credits, Hucker? https://www.gov.uk/national-benefit-fraud-hotline |

Is there NO difference between walking and riding a bike, then? Not when speed is similar. So why not walk and show a bit of respect? |

And you wonder why pillocks such as yourself riding on kids toys are detested by drivers, pedestrians, dogs, badgers, rats, mice, hamsters, birdies, worms, cockroaches, giraffes, elephants etc. Tell us all what it feels like to be so despised, detested, hated, scorned, unloved and unwanted. Tell us all what a lonely bellend on a bicycle feels about a wasted lonely life riding a pedal bike. |

Especially by YOU. And I have no ****ing interest in looking good in YOUR eyes. After all I ride a ****ing bicycle. And we all know what YOU think of bicyclists. You think they are the ****witted pits of humanity. And because it is YOU who think that, that is an extremely great compliment. We must be doing something right. My kid's toy is a very convenient economical delightful viable means of transport for many things. |

These include: The UK, specifically the south of England/Australians/cats/cyclists/black people/his neighbours, also the "brats" in the local school close to him. He's so insecure that he feels the need to carry his 5" chisel weapon in his pocket. He is also a snob and thinks he is better than everyone else. He needs pitying. |

I don't accept that cyclists have always been scum. They may (in the main) be so *now*, but the man who used to call to collect my grandmother's Prudential money each week was respectable, law-abiding, considerate, pleasant and even wore bicycle clips on his suit trousers. Back in those days people interacted with strangers on a daily basis and thus had good manners. Now these same people drive... No. We are discussing cyclists. Some of them may drive as well, but the subject is their demeanour whilst cycling. Nothing else. I hope that helps you understand what was a simple enough proposition in the first place. and regard strangers as inconvenient obstacles delaying their journey. Heinlein was right. "Strangers" including citizens paying their respect at ceremonies to honour the dead. |
