OK, I waited all year for this: The final stage route passes on a
unique stretch of roadway in France, in the sense of traffic rules.
Where and why?

The traffic flows either way on the road on the side of the Seine
depending on the time of the day.
Helps people get in or out of Paris.

My understanding is the tunnel the riders go through on the Champs is
only allowed to be ridden through if you are twice the legal limit and
have Princess Di as a passenger.
