Default Trek 1700 series

Hi there - does anyone here have a Trek 7100? Thinking of buying one but not
sure which variant to go for (think there are several, slightly different
bikes, in the range) - any views on this bike?

I will use it heavily, for commuting and at the weekends...

Thanks in advance
Jason

I had a Trek 7700 for a while, great bike. In the 7X00 range I like the
ones without the suspension forks and seat posts (the 7X00 "FX" models
I think). Cheaper, lighter, and easier to ride (suspension parts at
that price point aren't very good).
