Could this be a new description for vehicle/cycle mounted cameras?
The video mentioned below where a 'bus lane using' fast cyclist appears to
veer right to crash into the car attempting to make a right turn could be an
early example.

If it is then it seems like time every road user got one, if only so as to
be able to show the other side.
