The next time you think you can ride, think again. Out of Scotland
comes one of the best bits of riding we’ve ever seen. Danny MacAskill
mans the cycle while his mate Dave Sowerby mans the lens. Danny rides
a trials bike put out by Inspired Bicycles. Once you watch the video,
you’ll see why Danny recently gave up his job as a mechanic so he
could ride full time.

Filmed over the period of a few months in and around Edinburgh by Dave
Sowerby, this video of Inspired Bicycles team rider Danny MacAskill
features probably the best collection of street/street trials riding
ever seen. There’s some huge riding, but also some of the most
technically difficult and imaginative lines you will ever see. Without
a doubt, this video pushes the envelope of what is perceived as
possible on a trials bike.

A couple of the highlights include an insane ledge-to-ledge tailwhip,
a backwards mannual on the front tire, a HUGE 360 down a 16-stair set,
and one awesome display of minor insanity that I’m not even sure what
to call (4:37-4:48). Its no wonder Danny and Dave already have over
1million hits!
