Pros and cons of an early 2000 VW bug with 140K-150K
Hi all,
What are the pros and cons of an early 2000 VW bug with 140K-150K. This is the kind of car that my daughter is looking for, and I'm not all familiar with this machine. Thanks, Mike |

VWs of this vintage are notorious for having electrical problems. But a particular example might not have them, or they might have been repaired. (We have two VWs of that age; though neither is a beetle.). There are also suspension probems (wear items, but expensive if they haven't been fixed) and ome of the engines available had particular problems. Also, heater cores in these things suck. -- sig 3 |
