Cycle from London to Berlin to Paris in one day!
Hello there.
Do you know that it is possible to ride your bicycle from London to Berlin, then to Cambridge and then on to Paris and ALL in just one day and without crossing any large bodies of water? Well it is if you cycle Southwestern and Central Ontario in Canada. Start in London in Southwestern Ontario and bicycle to Kitchener (Berlin until World War 1) then to Cambridge and from Cambridge to Paris Ontario. Or take a southern route and cycle from London to Paris along #2 Highway which is about 100 kilometers or (you can use backroads) then take East River Road from Paris to Cambridge (or the rail-trail just to the east of E.R.R.) That's about 25 kilometers. From Cambridge it's about 25 kilometers to Kitchener downtown. Continuing on about 10 more kilometers would put you in Waterloo, Ontario. Great scenery and some quaint towns and villages along the way. Peter |

One-day round-trips from my driveway have taken me to Cuba, Peru, Malta; Oregon, Ohio, Hampshire; Dover, Limerick, Sandwich, Lisbon, Geneva, Marseilles, Genoa, Ottawa; Newark, Princeton, Harvard, and (West) Brooklyn. By the way it's "Ge NO a" and "Mar SALES". dave |
