"Twelve people were injured after a minibus crashed on the M1 today,
police said."
"West Yorkshire Police said the accident happened on the southbound
carriageway prior to junction 42 at 1.50pm and involved just one
vehicle."

A "single vehicle road traffic collision." Not uncommon, apparently.

Probably speeding. Mind you, you'd think it wouldn't be that hard with
a wheel on each corner.

Motorists here often claim that speeding doesn't increase risk. The
only wheel that counts is the driver's wheel, where most of the
problems arise. Of course it doesn't help if the vehicle has known
faults or the driver is distracted in any way. Still, if they kill
anyone it will probably be treated as an unavoidable 'accident' with
little or no punishment involved.

A driving licence is a licence to kill.

What happened to the cyclist the driver was avoiding?

Plenty of motorists here. They'll be interested. They care a lot about
road safety.
