It isn't.

It's up to Parliament.

And Parliament has banned the use of cannabis as well as any illegal
"harmless recreational drugs" that exist.

You must be utterly deflated by the fact that every civilised state
in the world has laws against... er... illegal drugs.

Things were illegal before laws were made? Remarkable.

It's remarkable that you can insist on being so asinine.

Or is it?

Nugent code for "I must have he last word".

Why do their legislatures all believe that they have the right to
decide... [continued on p.629.]

By all accounts they don't always follow their own rules.

That is not of significance.

We are all familiar with The Ten Commandments. None of them become
irrelevant on the basis that "Moses did it too".

Apart from murder, most people ignore them.

Illegal drugs are banned by law, what a revelation.

Only to people who are as stupid (or alternatively, as disingenuous)
as you are.

It is necessary to point out to very stupid people - who try to
claim that cannabis is "harmless" - that there is a body of
scientific evidence to the contrary.

At this stage, I'll go with the scientists rather than with you
druggies.

You drive, which scientist show is dangerous (mostly to others). Why do
you do it?

If Tobacco was discovered today, would it be legal? It is probably the most dangerous drug ever but because it is legal Nugent is happy for people to use it.

Typical motorist. Violence is the answer, what was the question.

This lorry driver wiped out a family of four - is he a hero to the common or garden driver frustrated at being "held up"?

This shocking footage shows the moment a lorry driver ploughs into a car while distracted by his phone, killing a mother and three children. The distressing video has been released by the devastated families in a bid to make people aware of the potentially-fatal consequences of using a mobile behind the wheel.

Tracy Houghton, 45, her two sons Ethan, 13 and Joshua, 11, and her partner’s daughter, Aimee Goldsmith, 11 were on their way back from a family holiday in Devon when they were killed.

According to Nugents first law of motion it was the other road users fault for being in the way.

Indeed - the faster following driver has a right to mow down and kill any slower people in front of them.

Nugents 2nd law of motion.
If a pedestrian walks into the road in front of a motor vehicle it is the Pedestrians fault.
If a pedestrian walks into the road in front of a pedal cycle it is the Cyclists fault.

It is literally impossible for you to be more wrong than you are there.

Tobacco should be classed as the dangerous and addictive drug that it
actually is and its possession, trading and use should be made illegal.
Inflicting it on others should be dealt with as an aggravated form of
the offence.

2a.
~ If a driver uses the horn, it means "sorry to worry you but you are
putting your life in danger and I am approaching rather fast".
~ If a cyclist calls "hello" it means "gerrouta way you ****ing moron".

The idea was to get people to believe that the instruction came from a
sky fairy and that their mortal behaviour determined whether they would
go to heaven or hell. Perhaps you still think this is how things work?
