Default Cateye double wireless CD300DW install on Klein Quantum?

Wondering if anyone successfully installed the new CD300DW
speed/cadence sensor on a Klein Quantum frame? I'm having problems
because the chain stays are so close to the wheel that if I do install
the speed sensor, I don't think I can remove the rear wheel without
removing the speed sensor. I've tried adjusting the motion of the speed
sensor higher or lower to accomodate but it just doesn't seem like it
would fit.

There is probably a workaround that I just can't see. Also I have Klein
Quantum from 2001. (not sure if chain stay widths have changed
throughout the years/models.)

thanks in advance.
