Default ferrari's new talent

Laff pointed out that Armstrong had an exclusive deal with Ferrari for
chasing the TdF. Now that He is retired, who will Ferrari advise on
how to win the Tour?

First of all he wasn't exclusive with LA. Secondly, he's been working
with at least four top talents. One of them holds a USPRO license and
just keeps getting better.

According to Coyle, by the terms of his contract with Armstrong, he
(Ferrari) was prohibited from working with any riders who could be
legitimate Tour challengers to Armstrong.

The OP assumes it was true in 2005, and that now Ferrari is free to

work with new riders. The assumption is wrong, and Coyle was talking

about earlier years.
