I plan to drive my truck down from Corvallis Oregon. I have room for one more or if someone is is headed south from this area that could pick me up I would split the gas. I was just in the bay area and gas was around 2.20 and going up for Labor day weekend that's about $200 in gas for my truck. -- muddycycle - Nonchalance "What can possiby mystify a madman?" I never did see a list of who's coming, so I'll ask here. Who is planning on coming to the event? I am, for the entire thing. I hopefully will fill out the registration today (got a show in a few hours), then all I'll need to do is buy a ticket. I am credit card-less, which makes it hard to get a ticket online. Can't wait to meet some of you for the second time, now that I know who you are! -- paco - Creator of the "BUni" If you attempt to fail, and succeed, which one did you really do? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ paco's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/3715 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/27439 |

I've been collecting some registration forms, but I've yet to make the '03 version of my spreadsheet for collecting the data, so they're kind of sitting there at the moment. One of the first forms came from Gilby. Then there are three guys from Texas, including Jerry Gruss and S. Wallis. Jagur and Tony Flusche. A guy from Santa Barbara, and I'm some. Ben, Joey, and a third guy from the Boston area are coming. Another group of three from CT is expected. Don't know who's coming from Toronto, because I saw Jeff Groves and Carl Hoyer(?) went to Vancouver. Dan Heaton is hoping to come down and bring the video. Kris Holm is getting married on Sept. 20, and I don't know if he can make it or not. Hopefully others from the Vancouver area will make the trip down. I'll be very surprised if John Childs can't make it, and I hope he will be joined by Harper and others from the Seattle area. Then there are the closer people, most of whom will hopefully make it. From the Bay area: Nathan and Beau, Rob Bowman, Bronson Silva, Bruce Bundy (David Poznanter is in Europe), Tom Holub, and Keith from Berkeley. Brett Bymaster is in Iowa now. There are many other Bay area riders BTW, those are just the best-known names. And from Sacramento, maybe a miracle will happen and all our local riders will be in the same place at the same time! A few: John and Woody Hooten, Andy Messenger (and others from Troopizi), Tim Bustos, Andy Jennings, Jeff Binning, Terrell Williams, Ted Howe, Lloyd Johnson. I'll get a list up as I get my paperwork more organized. First, some hotel suggestions for those of you who want your own bathroom (and space). Otherwise, we're going to accommodate as many floor and yard people as we can, as long as we have enough willing homeowners. -- johnfoss - Now riding to work John Foss the Uni-Cyclone www.unicycling.com ________________ "Where's my kids?" -- Amy Drummond "Where's my unicycle?" -- Andy Cotter spoken one right after the other, mostly to themselves, at NAUCC 2003 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ johnfoss's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/832 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/27439 |

Question for John F: how kid-friendly will the weekend be? My 9-year-old boy rides muni, and I'm trying to figure out if it makes sense for him to come along. Are all the rides fairly long and advanced? Do you know if there are other kids planning on attending (not counting Beau who rides in Adult class)? -- tomblackwood - Registered Nurtz My other brake is my face! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tomblackwood's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/3762 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/27439 |

I assume that when we send you a check for payment, we make it out to John Foss, right?
