Default Bill Baka Alert!

Sign indicating Bill Baka may be descending hills in the area, using his
favorite drag reducing technique:

Notice that it's a mountain bike, not a road bike.

For those that consider their bicycle an assault vehicle:
http://bikeportland.org/2007/08/22/fight-back-stencil-sparks-dialogue...

This stencil was (probably) in response to a couple of riders getting
run down by a whack-o in SE Portland. Instead of saying "hey, some
psychopath ran down a couple bicyclists," it turned in to "fight the
power" and bicycles need their own roads, etc., etc. Mayor Sam Adams
probably put on his helmet and appeared outraged for the cameras on
his Globe or whatever that thing is he rides. Really, the perpetrator
was a nut job. http://www.oregonlive.com/news/index...onally_ra.html

But you never, ever want to pass up a chance to be outraged about the
suffering of bicyclists. Just to make the point, I now wear the new
Bell thorny-crown helmet.

It also promotes attentiveness, because if you do fall on your head,
it hurts like a MF.

One must suffer before enlightenment. Please consider the survival
rate of philosophers and prophets before going on a public relations
campaign on behalf of suffering bicyclists.

I suspect something was lost in the translation. It should be a crown
of horns, not thorns, which are far more effective:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&tbm=isch&q=helmet+horns

Buy one of these:
http://www.amazon.com/McToy-Viking-Helmet/dp/B000FH9EQO
Remove the horns and reattach them to your cycling helmet.
(Personally, I prefer Micky Mouse ears, but they're not very
aerodynamic).
