Default He won (spoilers)

Caught the CBS version of highlights today. (And I found a nice cold
A/C downtown Friday's with not a smoker in the room, and an attentive
friendly staff asking questions about Guess Who.)

--Wassup with Paul in a CBS shirt and mic slipcover? OLN did all the
heavy lifting. Esp ironic: "here's our (CBS) coverage from the past
three weeks/seven years." YOU WEREN'T THERE! YOU BOUGHT THE COVERAGE
FROM OLN!!!

--Glad to see the chopper shot of the crazed idjit fan getting run over
by the motocam. (We can skip that part in the TdF fantasy camp script.)

--Does the CBS shirt have a zipper up the back, and do a coupla babes
install it on Paul?

--The same commercials as on OLN, too. (I want to see the Giro helmet
one again on the big screen.)

--Nice shot of LA signing autographs. Yellow jerseys in a stack, a guy
removing the signed one to reveal a fresh one.

--Some big blue eyes on that dude.

--I like Luke, Grace, and Isabella all in yellow. (As I mentioned on
another thread, G & I have better taste in yellow dresses than does
SC.)

--When does the career highlights tape/DVD come out? I'd buy one.

--Can't wait to see the impact on Madison Avenue, and cycling
generally.

--I have to go home and make up an ARMSTRONG 7 shirt now.

--Karen M.
what am I gonna do next July???

Don't forget the hour long interview with LA on 8/2.

Ride your bike, watch the stages on your PC (.avi), ride your bike some
more? ;-)

(I like to replay favorite parts of the stages while riding my stationary
bike as a warm up before I go and ride.)

Did you see the Bob Roll claymation during a pre-stage show early in this
years tour? LOL!

Something about the only way Bob was going to get a yellow jersey was to
crash into a vat of mustard. It was funny though I felt bad for Bob - he was
a good sport about being poked fun at.

Also: the Cervolo ads have been cute. The one with Dave Zabriskie singing
Old Man Mississippi and clockin' it during a time trial was good.

Anyone see these?

C.

Oh, the Nike machine will be putting those icons on everything that's not
nailed down. Example:

Expect a visit from a Nike Lawyer.

Lance and his team have been amazing to watch, but next year we could
get to see a real race. Personally, I can't wait.

Oh please. Nike doesn't own the color, the name, or the number. They
could license or TM a certain combination, but not the generic ones.
(Saw an AP newspaper photo with ARMSTRONG 7 shirts. No swoosh.)

Don't tell all the little tee-ball players with that surname that
they can't wear a 7 on a yellow shirt.

Nike can't license the numbers "10/2," either, anymore than W or
Osama can copyright "9/11."
