Cyclists in the heart of the violent riots

Groups of young men on bicycles and foot are gathering around police cordons
in central Hackney, hoods pulled over their heads and scarves disguising
their faces; tension in the area is palpably rising. Police reinforcements
have been seen arriving in the direction of Mare street.

streets of East Ham with bikes and batons

No reports of anyone in a car attacking Police or looting shops.

19:40: masked (respro wearing) middle aged cyclist faces a line of riot
police in Lewisham.

Not what I expected on my commute home but the vast majority of the
potential rioters/spectators looked like excited school kids.

I think most of the were, by all accounts! I heard somewhere (unconfirmed)
that the youngest arrestee was 11 years old.

I don't like bikes on the pavement hurting pedestrians, does this mean
you'll justify it if I start knocking pavement cyclists off and destroying
their bikes?
