Interesting. I've ordered from them numerous times with the two day
Fed-Ex upgrade that comes with their discount program. I've never
had a problem and they've backed their products 100%.

Ditto here. And I like their store, too. They carry stuff that Performance
and the LBS's don't or won't. Good service, too. Sold my gf her first mtb,
did a great job sizing it and getting her on the right bike, instead of the
most expensive one.

Supergo's good in my book. Sorry about your luck.

Regards,
H.

I just discovered that Supergo Bike Shops today (9/11/2004) charged my
debit card $49.98. I haven't ordered anything from them in at least 2
months. It's possible that they've stored credit card information in a
database that's been compromised.

I called the phone number listed on my online bank statement and reached
a salesperson for Performance Bikes. I was told to call back on a
weekday when customer service will be in.

So, if you've done business with Supergo/Performance, keep an eye on
your credit card statements and any bank accounts associated with debit
cards they might know about.

This turned out to have a reasonable explanation. It's a carbon stem I
ordered back in May. They had run out and had them on back order. So I
DID authorize the charge. I'd just forgotten it. Customer service is
sending a shipping label so I can return it to them for a refund.

Open mouth- exhale rant. Follow closely by apology.

Save it, gasbag.

Did you check the FedEx shipping details to see EXACTLY WHEN it left
from where, etc.? All this stuff is available on their site, maybe you
could just post the exact details.

Well, that is, unless you have an axe to grind, Mr. Excel Sports.

SUPERGO SUCKS! I was in need of some brake blocks and a chain so I
said what the hell. I order it and TWO WEEKS LATER it shows up
despite shipping Fed ex ground. I called 4 times and each time they
blamed everyone else but themselves. A lot of double talk about how
fed-ex ground guarantees **** within 10 days, but having
worked/shipped with Fed ex I know they guarantee it in 5 days from CA,
this stuff should have take 3 days, SUPERGO stuck with the 10 day
story and I'm sticking to my guns, SUPERGO F-yourself, no one I know
will shop with you.

An evil, yet playful, mind at work is a wonderful thing to witness.

That is NOT playful-- that is theft! Sorry folks two wrongs do not make
a right.
