Default Cannondale R500 (2004 model) or R700 (2005 model)

Hey just looking for any opinions on the following Cannondale models:
R500 (2004 model) and the R700 (2005 model). It appears my selection
has come down to one of these models. THANX!

The R700 appears to have a better selection of components. If you can
afford it, you might just want to get the R900 with the CAAD8 frameset
with the Veloce groupsets.

Haven't tried the CAAD7 or CAAD8 frameset, but the CAAD4 (featuredon
the R500) is lively and very efficient. If both are in the same price
range, I would go with the R700.

Claude
