Winter Cycling Clothing in Toronto (semi crosspost)
Hi folks.
Seeing as you guys do some long distance travel, I bet you guys know how to fight the cold. I'm in Toronto and am in the midst of a winter. I want to get cycling but I don't have much in terms of winter cycling clothing. I checked out my regular provider for such stuff... http://www.mec.ca ....but they don't seem to have much in terms of supporting the winter cyclist. So I thought you folks might have some ideas. I am leaning towards stretch pants that are insulated, and some kind of layered system for my top. Also need some foot insulation ideas for my current boots (mountain bike clipless) and something for my hands and head. Look forward to your warm replies. Cheers |
