Is there any Hockey being played anywhere in the SE?

Thanks

Lunis still exist, but the school hall we play in is closed for the
summer holiday, so no hockey in tufnell park until september.

I've suggested doing hockey outdoors some evening (in hyde park by the
albert memorial, where people play roller hockey), but I haven't had
time to organise it myself and no-one else seems to be doing it yet.

If you're interested in a game, then by all means suggest a time
(thursday evening is good for most hockey people) and place and I can
forward it to the lunis hockey email list.

Joe

I think Horsham still meet up regularly. I don't have a contact, sorry.

comparing my two (count 'em) experiences playing unihoki, (once with the
lunis in their tuffnell park venue and once on an in-line rink back in
south africa) i have to say that the in-line rink is really nice to play
on
the waist-high wall all around means there r less breaks in play for
balls going out of bounds
i think it's a bit bigger (the 24" riders will love that)
and the rounded corners make a for a slightly different dynamic than the
angled ones

if it's at all possible, "get thee to an in-line rink!"

(in-line hockey players also seem to love being around unihoki players.
gives them that {much needed?} sense of superiority knowing they're in
the company of a sport that will allways be a lil' bit smaller than
theirs... )
