McGee still in the news
The news this week says that, after only five years, the Lawyers
Council has decided that McGee did not do anything serious enough to justify a reprimand by the Council. He only ran over a cyclist, ran away, got his brother to drive him back past the accident scene, waited to sober up, then took his lawyer with him and reported the accident to the police. In the meantime the rider died. I expect any other lawyer would have done the same. Theo |

Moike You seem to have missed the point Moike McGee is not a pharmacist, accountant nor a master builder McGee is a lawyer/legal practitioner and he phucked with the law/legal system and therefore deserves sanctioning/deregistration Would you want the fatherless mongrel acting on your behalf in a legal matter ? I would expect a pharmacist who phucked with the pharmacist code of ethics to be sanctioned and/or deregistered by his professional body just as I would expect the accountant or master builder who phucked with the relevant code of ethics or building code etc to be sanctioned by the relevant supervising authority. -- --- ~~~ ~ _@ ~~ ~ _- \, ~~ (*)/ (*) . . . bjbear on his treadly If you think you're too small to have an impact, try going to bed with a mosquito in the room. I had forgotten that this is how all lawyers would have behaved in the same circumstances, and thus it can't have been construed as behaviour that should get him kicked off the bar. -- TimC "The Write Many, Read Never drive.
