Default Riding tights (and I don't ride horses!)

Looking at getting some new winter tights and I like the feel of these super
roubbaix ones. But everyone seems to make them in a stirrup leg (a damn
nuisance when you want to add or remove a layer on a ride). Does anybody
know of a source, or even a brand name, that has super roubbaix tights with
no stirrup and a calf zip? I'm in Melbourne eastern suburbs.

Cheers
Peter

Would super roubbaix (how do you pronounce that, BTW?) leg warmers do the
trick? Them I've seen.

A: Top-posters.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on Usenet?

I think pronunciation is 'roo bay'

Yes, the leg warmers are a fall back I guess, but on our sub-10 deg days I
prefer to have a bit more coverage around the crown jewels.

Could you unpick the stitches and remove the stirrups?

Peter -

Ground Effect in NZ sell what you describe over the web - the heading is
"longs" - I like their 3/4 length nicks with warm knee stuff but then I'm in
Sydney and those further south may well feel the need for the full
catastrophe.

Seem good and knowledgeable people to deal with - site is -

I have dealt with Groundeffect, they are a great group of people,
their products are well made & reasonably priced. As a bonus, they
reply promptly to emails :-)
