Default will Lance go for the black bag ?

This will be a test of Lance's character. Will he be a Floyd, or will
he be who he claims to be?

Use your brains, Lance has a lot of faults, like being a massive
asshole, but he certainly ain't dumb, WTF would he take such a risk !

A guy sits at the blackjack table, up $250,000. He can't stop gambling
until it's all gone and they drag him away.

Likewise, people ge addicted to the oddest things. Cycling, suffering,
risk. Who knows what motivates someone?

Here's a guy who now knows he can't win, yet he's gonna come back next
year (just one more hand...)

I'm not saying this is the case. But there are disturbing parallels.

Lance wins the 2010 TdF.

You heard it here first on r.b.r.

Lance wins the 2010 TdF.

You heard it here first on r.b.r.

That is a bold prediction. Not especially smart, but you can't have
everything.

Bold, yes, but if a Spanish rider and a Luxembourgh rider gets pipped
for PEDs, it's doable. Of course, LA would not want to win if his
rivals were sitting on the sidelines. He relishes the competition.

LA winning the Tour in 2010 just doesn't add up.

He will have more time to prepare and could be in better condition
next July. However, he will also be a year older and at his age every
year is on a downward curve. The thing that brought it home to me was
the look on his face near the end of the Stage 18 ITT. Lance looked
like what he is, a rider past his prime and his time showed it as
well.

In addition, it was clear that AC and AS could have been a lot farther
ahead of Armstrong if team tactics hadn't held them back. My guess
also is that AS will be stronger next year than he is this year.

I would love to see Lance win the Tour again, but I don't see how he
can beat either AC or AS next year.

I'm willing to believe that LA could win the 2009 TdF in 2010.

I don't agree with this, his result is better than his 4th place in
the 1998 Vuelta which he got after a long absence as well. If he
doesn't win in 2010 it will be because of Contado, in my opinion.

Again, I'd love to see him win, but he's going to have to be a lot
better than he is this year. With age comes longer recovery times and
you can't train that away.
