Just saw "The Flying Scotman"
I rented it from Netflix and thought it was a pretty good flic.
There's quite a bit of cycling in it, both road and velodrome, and it's an interesting story. I would have liked to have seen them go into a bit more detail regarding mr. Obree's bi-polar disorder, such as its' effect on his relationship with his wife and others. I kind of have a personal interest in this as I have been bi-polar for more than fifteen years. It was an hour and 38 min. and I think it would have been a good two hour movie. It's still a good movie if you're into cycling and inspiring stories and I recommend it. 3.5 of 5 stars. Smokey |
