advise best biking city in North America

The winter is too long here in Toronto, want to move to another US
city, where I can ride the bicyle about 40 miles per day in the city
all year long?

Please advise a cycling friendly city for this kind of human.

Is having a hockey team in town a requirement?

Anywhere along the California coast, especially south of San Francisco. The
California coast has mild temperatures winter and summer and rain is pretty
limited, though it does get heavier in the winter north of San Francisco.

Of course, Hawaii is in the USA. So are Puerto Rico, American Samoa, and the
US Virgin Islands.

What does "another US city" mean when you are talking about Toronto?

Probably not. Toronto currently doesn't have anything that could be
called a professional hockey team.

Vegas or anywhere in New Mexico or Arizona.

Why can't you ride 40 miles per day all year in Toronto?
