Default Disk brakes

Squeal is usually dust, grit or sand.

Take the wheel off and run a piece of clean rag between the pads and
wipe the disk over.
Worst case it can be sand behind the pads. Carefully pop them out and
more clean rag. For cars they have a goo that goes on the back of the
pads to exclude dust but bike should never get that bad.

Over 10,000 km on hydraulic Shimano 525 disks and not a problem. Still
on original pads.

Cheers
Hugh
