Rock Shox parts and Maintenance

I have some older Rock Shox forks Judy XC 1996 pre the one piece type.

Two problems - can't get them apart and spare parts.

In the manual they say just to unscrew the 6mm bolts from the lower
tubes and slide the the forks free of the upper tubes.

This hasn't happened is there something I'm missing to dismantle the forks.

I have removed the MCU spring from the top of the forks. one side has
collapsed completely and the other is in tact. Also need the damper unit

Where do I buy parts for these forks?

Thanks

Before you remove the bolts .... tap them with a deadblow hammer (or
hammer and a block of wood.

Basically, just unthread the bolts at the bottom of the slider three
full turns. Then use a plastic mallet or a deadblow to tap on both
bolts until the heads are back against the sliders, then finish
unthreading the bolts and remove the sliders from the rest of the fork.
The damper cart., and neutral shaft are probably stuck to the inside of
the slider.

Good luck finding parts .... If you look around you might be able to
find an air cartridge upgrade .... when all else fails ... EBAY

Wouldn't it be cheaper, and easier, to just buy a new one?
