One of the guys who races mountain bieks has bought frames from thes
people, both geared and singlespeed frames. Says they are fantasti
frames, have been thinking about ordering one. It would be better t
order two or three at a time to share the freight costs around

Interested

I've heard the same. Only word of caution is to be very exact with you
specs. You need to spec each & every drop-out & braze-on, ie don'
assume the frame builders know anything. I could be interested, I wonde
if they can do sliding drop-outs, like the Kona Unit

i think the Kona unit sliders are actually bolt-on separate units tha
sit 'inside' the stays/ends. why use them instead of just 'built-in
dropouts, soiler

i gotta chinese exchange student staying at our place so I might mak
enquiries re her folks 'bringing' it over to m

snip

I purchased a frame and fork from these guys late last year. Paid around
USD600 including shipping to Australia. Had it custom built to allow the
use of standard 'long' reach brake calipers, so I had some room for bigger
tyres and guards.

Overall I was very happy with the quality of the frame and fork. The
brushed finish touches up easily with scotchbrite, so it can be kept looking
perfect with minimal effort. I think the brushed finish was about $20 bucks
extra.

Funnily enough the bike is currently on ebay, as I'm leaving the country at
the end of the month and traffic in KL scares me. Thinking of getting a mtb
frame as this appears to be a much more active scene in KL. Would buy from
these guys again without hesitation.

There's a couple of close up photos of the weld quality in the following
auction.

I presently have three bikes from this place. A mountain bike, a road
bike and a Tri bike.
You can see pictures of my bikes here.

http://www.geo.net.au/~mart/personal/martys_bikes.htm

I've also had emails from various other people that have bought the
bikes.
One of them has posted pics of his bike here.
http://www.andreyo.com/_wsn/page3.html

His was a custom frame (US$50 extra).
I've never paid any duty or tax on the bikes on arrival in Australia.
Freight is expensive at about US$75 (by air) and the cost of a wire
money transfer is about AUS$40. Two frames will fit in one box so if
you order two frames you can cut costs.
I know for a fact that the frames made by these people are sold in the
USA for three to four times the cost from China. Mark Hickey has told
me that his frames (Habenaro) are not made from the above mentioned
company.

If you need further info you can email me at

Yeah, have to find out what 'extra' costs are involved..

There used to be a matte black Ciocc frame of some sort hanging up in
CCW. Looked quite nice. Don't know much about them though. I wouldn't
knock one back though

Ti SS?? Dude, they are all the rage in the states! (Not that anything
yanks make popular is good..) Advantages of steel without the weight
and rust. Yeah, custom ti ss frames are a popular item in USA, so they
can't be all bad.. thinks of cost, storage, lack of time to ride
one... sigh...
