They have to get invited first.

I am wondering if Contador has a legal basis to Vinukurov to break his
contract. Contador could argue that Vinukurov presence on Astana is
hurting his career. Things will get interesting since Astana says it
will enforce Contadors contract.

Dumbass -

Almost no way on that. If contracts were that easy to break, there'd
be no point to them in the first place.

Buyout is his only option if he wants out.

thanks,

Kurgan. presented by Gringioni.

They say so to improve their negotiating position.

You're assuming that Contador was paid in full and on time
this year. I wouldn't assume that.

I see you don't understand the law here either.

So can you spool it out for we non-barristers?

I presume you mean that if it's not part of the contract it's not
actionable? Or if they pay him, finally, there's no grounds, post?

Maybe there's specific provisions in cycling contracts detailing
grounds for breaking it.

Silly **** believes that since Contador wasn't paid on time that gives him
grounds to cancel the contract. But as soon as he accepted the catch-up
money and rode for Astana they were even again and the contract was back in
effect. That was consent.
