I can't find gore ride-on shift cables anymore, did they stop making them?
The brake cables are available, but not the gear cables, what gives?

The guy that works here wanted some and a call revealed that they are no longer
in production.

That stinks that Gore / Ride On stopped making their weatherproof shift
cables, they worked very well for me.

Is there a competing product that works as well as the old Gore Ride On
cables?

Avid makes a product that doesn't work as well. I think they call it
the Flak Jacket.

I tried some. You're better off changing your cables more often. And you
can change them a lot more often for the price.
