Default spoke lengths

Hi Everyone,

I was using the Spoke Calculator on the DT Swiss website.
After I put in all of the required information, the left side and
right side spoke lengths came out different for the front wheel.
For the rear wheel I can understand this.

Perhaps the important information is 32 hole hub, 32 hole rim, cross
3.
Should I expect different spoke lengths on the front wheel? Why is
this?

I'm confused again.

Thank you!
Taka

Do you have a URL for this.

If you have a front disc brake hub you might get this.

Martin.

Hi Martin,

The front disc argument makes sense.
Thanks.

I generally prefer the Damon Rinard calculator which you can download to
play with.

Hello Tony,

Ah, thank you.
I will download it now.
The DTSwiss page times out quite quickly so is a bit frustrating.

Thank you!

Not a bad idea to use more than one calculator to verify or compare
results. There's another one at: www.tech-mavic.com/uk/calcul.htm - user
name: mavic-com, pw: dealer
