Default CUTTERS win breaking away! An amazing Little 500!

So, mid-race the Cutters manage to fall off their bike, and there's no yellow flag, so they go a lap down. And somehow...they ride back onto the lead lap!

That just doesn't happen in the Little 500.

That said, the tactics of the Black Key Bulls and Sigma Chi were either badly lacking, or reflective of how much stronger the Cutters were. They never managed to work the Cutters, and they never managed to counter the Cutters attempts to get back on the lead lap, and everyone in the race knew the Cutters had the best sprinter in the race.

To Sigma Chi's credit, they tried something clever at the end of the race where they went for an escape attempt, but their man could not lose the yellow shadow that was Eric Young, the Cutters' top rider. After that, they did a change that conceded the victory, and with the Bulls already gapped, Young rode home with a huge gap, and no sprinting needed.

What a great race.

Ha - we only watched it because it came up in Netflix queue. No idea
the race was this weekend.

Cool report and probably the only place left where 7,000 people gather
in one place to watch a bike race.
