Tom Sherman - recumbent expert extradinaire

Now that I have had a half gallon of my beloved Livingston Cellars Red Rose, allow me to say a few words in praise of Tom Sherman. There is no one in the world who knows more about recumbents than Tom Sherman, not even excepting Robert Bryant, the editor of the now defunct RCN newsletter. I think Mr. Sherman could write a book on what he knows about recumbents and it would be worthwhile reading for the rest of us. Mr. Sherman is an engineer and brings a scientific view to the world of recumbents. It behooves us all to listen to what he has to say about recumbents. ARBR would be nothing without him. Any other cycling newsgroups who gets his words of wisdom are blessed indeed. I am a gadfly and also perform an essential mission on these newsgroups. But I am only about opinion. I almost have a contempt for the facts. But I am glad that Mr. Sherman is here to remind me that facts after all do exist. In the end, it is only facts that can bring us up short, not opinions. Regards, Ed Dolan the Great - Minnesota aka Saint Edward the Great - Order of the Perpetual Sorrows - Minnesota extradinaire? is that like brunch? dax |
