Default Electric bike scourge in Monterey.

Even though there's a sign "No Motorized Bicycles"
https://goo.gl/maps/CCaTZupAUrMyg6fB7 it doesn't help. Probably 2/3 of
the bicycles on the trail were motorized, mostly rentals. These weren't
seniors like me on the eBikes, mostly young people zooming up the hills
at 25MPH as we struggled in low gear.

Still, the ride from Marina, along the Fort Ord bicycle trails, and
through Monterey and Pacific Grove and the 17 mile drive is one of the
best rides when it's hot in the Bay Area. Always cool along the coast,
just too many tourists, and around the Monterey wharf you have all these
people in those rental surreys.

It's not the bicycles, it's the bicyclists. It's clowns like you and Franki-boy with your self-dooming project of trying to put more people on bicycles -- more evidence of its failure in your own words above -- rather than getting the wrongos off bicycles and back into their cars. It isn't the conservatives who need reeducation, it's you and Franki-boy, though what you really need first is a brain transplant, probably from someone born into a nation of known superior brainpower, say Croations, before even a strenuous reeducation regime with daily beatings will do you any good. -- AJ
