Spent a couple of afternoons riding with JD up in his hood. First day Jerry
was on the rigid ss and made me look real bad. It's fun to watch him ride.
Second day saw us on a trail they are trying to re-establish. Funny thing
is I took a picture of the trail head sign and it turned out black?????
This trail has just about everything in the ~5 miles of trail. I even
managed to ride stuff I'd normally walk. Jerry just kind of has that effect
as he make things look easy.

Weather was just perfect. Threatening but not doing. Only had to turn back
on one trail Monday when the clay started to get a little slick.

Cool stuff, G. Thanks for coming down for a few miles. Yeah, I
cheated and rode FS on Tuesday. I'm definitely going to ride up the
last 1/4 mile of M's trail clean this week. I almost had it on round
two, but had one yabba dabba do, as did Jon. HAHAHA, potty break...

Cool. Looks very nice.
I recently found some new trail nearby here that reminds me of that a
little. Good stuff indeed.

It was a good time. I learned a lot just following Jerry around and left
with a greater confidence than I started with. Of course the first crash
will bash the confidence....

I'll have to make a point of coming back up in the spring to ride some more
in your area.

Jerry and I talked about possibly getting a small group together to do the
Wilson Mesa trail near T-ride next year. I thought I'd start the recruiting
now!

We'll definitely have a Fruitian showing at that.
