But at 74 I'm willing to bet that I have less than 10 years on a bike and that means that the wear I expect on these wheels would be cheaper to go with the cheap Chinese wheels. As far as I can make out the only problem with them is wearing out the brake pads pretty rapidly. I got a set of blue pads to try. I was sick to my stomach this morning so I didn't go out on a ride in the cold. Now it has pretty much passed but I don't feel like it. And rain is coming for the weekend into the middle of the following week. I'm selling all of my bikes off but the Basso Loto and the Colnago CLX 3.0. But nothing seems to be moving. Sort of surprising since you can get some pretty good full suspension bikes cheap. |
