Default Cytomax sport drink

A friend of mine gave me some Cytomax to try on my last ride. I really like
the taste and I felt great during and after the ride. Is it possible for a
sport drink to have such an effect...or was it just me.

Thanks to all comments...

The stuff is spooky in its abilty to prevent lactic acid buildup.
It's not just you.

Wow! It's just totally amazing how us disinterested
folks who are definitely not in any way associated
with the product can be so totally positiive about
it and supply such useful links to the places where
you can, like, BUY stuff... I mean, like, wow!

Could be - but spamming rbo-r isn't a very high-percentage move (the
ten of us who may actually still read this probably won't make much
difference to whatever corporation makes Cytomax.

Most sports drinks are about the same. On any ride longer than 1-1/2
hrs. you should be drinking a sports drink instead of water. Buy
whichever one tastes the best and that you can stomach on long rides and
doesn't cause problems like bloating, etc.. I use Cytomax myself and
find it's easier on my stomach than the others.

After a long, hard ride you might want to try Endurox R4, which is a
recovery drink.

More shameless promotions, but Cytomax was introduced to me on a 18
hour climb and it worked for me.

Lessee... in the last hill climb I did a couple hours would get you up
6,000 feet (~1900m) of climbing. Multiply that times nine and you'd
better be wearing a pressure suit...
