Default the right bike

I'm shopping for a new bike. I want to move into a full-suspension
that I will be able to pedal up hill and that will still stand up to
some drops (five, six feet) and abuse. Any suggestions? I have been
looking at the Norco 4 by 4.
Thanks
Dan
