Default Worlds on TV?

Im heading back to Aus soon and was wondering if anyone has heard o
knows if the road racing World Champs be televised at all anywhere?

Seems a shame if they wont be. Aus have such a strong team. Eve
despite O´Grady´s hissy fit and refusing to ride for McEwen

If it's true that Robbie offered money to European riders to chase down Matt
White's solo effort at the TDU this year, I support the hissy fit. If it's
true. Robbie had had wins already at the Tour and anyone who begrudges a
domestique like Whitey getting out for a win when he can (particularly at
home) doesn't deserve those same domestiques and others riding for them
later. Again, if it's true. I'm an O'Grady fan, though.

I don't blame him. Robbie strikes me as a spoiled ******.

I heard this wasnt true and McEwen actually said when White had tol
him he was going to attack at the finish "Im not going to chase you
(in Whites own words). Besides as unAustralian and poor as it is, tha
sort of thing goes on all the time in the pro peloton. Doesnt make i
acceptable but just saying....

I dunno the details of the O´Grady McEwen thing. Obviously runs dee
though and apparently has been going on for years.

Guess there will be no coverage then

At times, yeh - he certainly seemed so a few years ago, then got very
successful and more sure of himself. His media persona got a lot better as
he won more in Europe. He kind of went back to the way he was during the
tour when Boonen won a lot at the start. I think he finds it easier to be
magnanimous when he's winning, like a lot of us (not that we all win green
jerseys and such, but when thigs are going well, I mean).

I think that had a lot to do with getting shafted by the French and
Stuart O'Grady's appalling riding in a certain stage.

Anyway sprinters are supposed to be prima donnas aren't they? (That's
my excuse and I'm sticking to it)

Cheers
