Default Paths Not Promulgated By Officialdom

A farm road goes near the local Walmart. Walmart dug berms and put up barricades but motorists drive over the dirt and around the concrete. The obstructions decrease the advantage of the short cut by about 0.2%.

Local pro bono pedestrians put in a particle board bridge over an abandoned irrigation ditch. I trust it enough now I don't even dismount.
