Bent 'bent pictures
What are the chances of the problem being more down to poor frame design
rather than faulty materials? In other words, is it likely to happen again? Has it happened to other Optima owners already? Good luck. ~PB |

From what I can gather there was an issue with Barons, which has been addressed, but I haven't heard of any other Stinger owners being affected. Mine is number 198, not sure what number Anders has, but I was early in the production run for sure. That looks awfully like post-weld heat treatment going wrong. It's a bad design anyway, putting a weld of that size right on the outer curve of the tube. |
