Well, swimming and bicycling are both non-impact sports. Mishaps have different injury / death mechanisms (blunt force vs drowning).

But a far more important question is, "To be safe is one required to
wear a helmet when riding a bicycle underwater?"

Pixel Ruler was a great help in reading that table.

It is interesting that living causes a death and a half per million
hours.

more likely to die of something else? Helluva way to kill yourself.

It sounds weird when you state it that way, but turn the ratio around and
it says that the average person lives 76 years before dying of something.

Or that on average 0.9 years of continuous skydiving will kill you.
