I always had problems with the Ritchey "One Bolt" design slipping, are
the new "two bolt" any better?

No idea, but as a fellow "One Bolt" owner I suggest roughing up the
contact points with a file or similar. its a really nice chroming job,
but not conducive to bolting everything down.
