Marin County investigators seized about $700,000 in cash and suspected
drug trafficking evidence from a Ross residence Friday evening in
connection with a federal case against a former world mountain biking
champion.

The county Major Crimes Task Force, acting on a tip from the federal
Drug Enforcement Administration, executed a search warrant at 4
Madrona Ave. and found the money and suspected drug packaging
material, said sheriff's Sgt. Fred Marziano.

The two-bedroom home is believed to be rented by Eric Canori, who was
named in a federal complaint this week with Melissa "Missy" Giove, a
widely known mountain bike racer nicknamed "The Missile."

Giove, 37, and Canori, 30, were charged in Albany, N.Y., on Wednesday
with conspiring to distribute marijuana following an elaborate sting
involving a confidential informant, a trailer stuffed with marijuana
and bundles of cash, authorities said.

According to court documents, federal agents set up a bust Tuesday
night in Saratoga County, N.Y. Under the direction of federal
investigators, the confidential informant arranged to sell Giove about
220 pounds of marijuana at a Hilton hotel in Albany.

Giove, 37, arrived on a flight to Albany County Airport, took a taxi
to the hotel and met the confidential informant, all the while being
watched by federal agents. Then she took a rental truck with a
marijuana-filled trailer, dropped off the informant at a book store in
Wilton, N.Y., and picked up Canori, who also has a residence

•• Those who would call others, "moron"
need only look in a mirror to see a real one.

In real science the burden of proof is always on
the proposer, never on the sceptics. So far
neither IPCC nor anyone else has provided one
iota of valid data for global warming nor have
they provided data that climate change is being
effected by commerce and industry, and not by
natural phenomena.

It wasn't the same story, and it wasn't 3 hours, but 27 hours. YOU are
obviously the moron, which we already knew years ago.

Too late. You can't change your story after the fact. You are still
WRONG, as usual.
