Goodness these cyclists are hard men, aren't they?

A shopper had to have a brain scan after she was knocked down by a
cyclist in the city centre and left lying in a pool of blood.

Kathy Wood, 64, from Deal, was struck by the reckless rider as she
walked through the pedestrian precinct in Rose Lane.

But despite coming off his bike, the cyclist simply re-mounted and rode
off down the busy street, leaving other shoppers to come to her aid.

Another example showing the necessity of pedestrian helmets.

Another example showing the contempt that cyclists - including many
posters here - have for pedestrians.
