Sorry, but I do not find coming onto Usenet to promote oneself and
denigrate others to be amusing.
May we therefore conclude that you are not amused by the postings of
Jobst Brandt?

I judge each post of Jobst Brandt on its own merits.

Yeah, me, too.

When I have felt
Jobst was out of line in a response to one of my posts, I have called
him on it.

So Brandt is A-OK so long as he doesn't denigrate *you*?

Unlike André Jute and Ed Dolan, Jobst Brandt does NOT posts new threads
with the intent to denigrate a particular individual.

Do you deny that Brandt is a relentless self-promoter and that he
often puffs himself up at the expense of others?

No, Jobst merely has strong opinions, and does not sugarcoat his
disagreement. I do not see an intent to harm, but more an insensitivity
(deliberate or not).

Obama is only a radical leftist by the standards of people who think
Mussolini was a socialist.
What are you going on about, Tom? Mussolini was a distinguished
socialist before he became a fascist, and after he became a fascist
he was still a socialist but with nationalism and violence added,
because fascism is national socialism, enforced (a sort of more
efficient marxism, if you will).
More of the revisionism in an attempt to smear anyone who is not a gung
ho corporatist?
How can anyone discuss socialism in public if he doesn't even know
that Mussolini was a socialist? How can anyone discuss socialism in
public if he is so ignorant he doesn't know that to Mussolini (and
other socialists of the period, and to historians of all stripes
today) "corporatism" means State control or direction of the large
corporations?

How can one have a discussion with The André Jute if he uses right-wing
revisionist history?

Yo, Tommy, you're trying to be a gung-ho corporatist and you don't
even know what it means.

André Jute is apparently having issues with interpreting written English
the last day or two. Hopefully, it is a passing phase.

The socialist elements were purged by the SS fairly
early on in the Third Reich, and were used only as a means to power
(then betrayed).
How can anyone discuss history and socialism in public who thinks
Mussolini was in the Third Reich?

But no one on rec.bicycles.tech has posted such a thing. I worry the Mr.
Jute is having delusions.

Yo, you ignorant clown, Mussolini
was an Italian socialist journalist, later Il Duce of *Italy*. He
helped to invent fascism while Hitler was still a corporal with dreams
beyond his station in life. Hitler's only contribution to fascism was
to add anti-semitism.

But nowhere have a claimed differently. I was referring to the SS
purging the SA of the socialist elements - surely Mr. Jute is aware of
that bit of history?

If Hitler had been a true socialist, why would Fritz Thyssen have
bankrolled the Nazi Party?

But of course, this revisionism is necessary for the apologists for greed.
No, you poor undereducated idiot, Musoline *was* a socialist who
wanted the workers to share in the profits of their enterprise.

Who is "Musoline" (sic)?

Mr. Jute is presenting revisionist history here, since he carries the
flag for the privileged in life.

But the notion that Obama is a radical is laughable. If Bill ever met
a real radical, he'd probably die of shock. On the barricades in Paris
in 1968 the leaders of the revolution were lining up to ask me for
jobs in my ad agency...
Typical, since most "revolutionaries" are merely in it for personal gain.
Get a sense of humour, Tommy. It is not a disease.

Sorry, but I do not find coming onto Usenet to promote oneself and
denigrate others to be amusing.

Andre Jute
Officially declared a revolutionary
LOL
Indeed. An advertising executive is a tool of the corporate class, often
used to create false wants and "needs".
A McCarthyite judgement based on nothing but guilt by association. An
ad hominid smear. Or is that the "corporate class" in the
Mussoliniland: i.e. a bureaucrat interfering in productive processes?

Who convinced millions of Americans to drive SUV's?

Let's look at your opening statement again:
More of the revisionism in an attempt to smear anyone who is not a gung
ho corporatist?
You accuse others of your despicable methods of character
assassination, Tommy. This entire post of yours is an attempt to smear
me as a greedyguts lackey of business -- when in fact I was talking
about socialists and State control of business. All your little effort
to smear me did was expose your dire ignorance and unfitness to
discuss these matters.

yawn

This from Mr. Jute who feels the need to start new threads denigrating
people. The only other person on bicycling newsgroups who does that is
Ed Dolan.

I feel sorry for you, Tommy. You're ten years of hard study from
saying the slightest sensible thing about politics. But hey, if you
want to spend your entire life whining negatively, pointlessly,
powerlessly, go for it.

Please, let us not compare Dolan w/ Jute. Dolan is non other than the
great saint of something or other. Jute is neither grate nor saintly.

Yes, Dolan is a troll, but bears no real ill will.

The comparison is like trying to compare myself or anyone in this
newsgroup to Gene Daniels.

gene is a genius!

Some people are so above the rest of us that are incomparable.

What happened to the kinder, gentler Andres Muro? Did the Palinites get
to him?
