This might spook you a bit then hippy. Last Saturday they were setting
up some dog training school on the grass in the middle of the track.

The dog training school has been there for ages and causes no
problems. In fact, they are usually the first to abuse people with
dogs off the lead.

Needless to say, we left before things got out of hand

Was that the crew with the fold out chairs in the middle?
I think I was there! I think I was just doing high cadence
efforts so it wasn't too tricky keeping an eye on them, but
they do tend to walk across the track without looking..

Hmm. They are normally very good.

BTW, if you see a fat bloke on a yellow/black/grey Scapin, say g'day

Dog training.

"See those people on bikes? Get 'em boy, get 'em!"

It works the other way round. The dogs get accustomed to bikes and are
trained not to chase after them. I'm happy to see Erin's school there
becuase I was attacked by a Rhodesian ridgback a couple of years ago
and the more dogs are trained not to attack cyclists the better. BTW,
the name of her school is "Sit Happens" :-)
